Winter
Festival of Lights displays Displays at 6:15 and 8 p.m., as well as on every Friday, November 9 to December 21 at 9 p.m. During Christmas week, displays are held every evening from Wednesday, December 26, 2007 to Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 9 p.m. Special New Year's Eve display at midnight on December 31. During the Winter Festival of Lights enjoy spectacular fireworks as they explode high over the mighty falls. Enjoy them from the comfort of your hotel's dining room, stay in for a romantic, room service dinner or visit one of the many restaurants found nearby. Schedule:

of Fort George Candlelight Dinner Weekend Wine tasting reception - Friday, November 16 at the Court House located at 26 Queen Stree, hosted by The Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce . Saturday, November 17 there will be two afternoon sittings for the Officer’s and Gentlemen’s period drinks in The Officers’ Quarter at Fort George on Queen’s Parade. Later on in the evening of November 17, a 19th century period dinner will be held at Navy Hall on Ricardo Street. Catered by The Epicurean Restaurant. Each course accompanied by a fine Niagara wine. Period musical entertainment by Gin Lane. All the above - $130/person, all inclusive. A winery representative will be available to inform you about the wines being served with each course. Begin your culinary journey on Saturday night at one of the five restaurants and you will be transported by genuine London taxicabs to another restaurant for each successive course. Your ticket entitles you to a complimentary wine and cheese welcome party on the Friday night between 8 and 10pm at the Court House, retail discounts as well as free wine tastings at five participating wineries on Sunday.
